    I think change is coming, and change is always resisted by the status quo. But part of the battle is educating people on why change is needed and what options are available. It says a lot when you have guys like Rafael Cruz trying to promote FUD against secularism and humanism as viable alternatives to the status quo.

      I think that as long as people think someone else is going to change/fix something, the vacuum of power is going to be filled by those who will try and fill that vacuum. Good or bad are sucked into that void. Most people see that empty space as despotic and tend to avoid it. This means people who want to enter that vacuum, that arena, are not the normal run of the mill. They become leaders, for whatever reason, and there are reasons and leaders for all kinds of times. This time is no different.
