On John Horgan's Confusions about Skepticism and Science

John Horgan is not a skeptic with a capital-S. Or a small one. Horgan is a science journalist who recently, controversially, spoke at the Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism (NECSS). He implored organized skeptics to choose “hard targets” over soft ones. That is, to criticize dubious and harmful claims from mainstream science and institutions.
