Multiracial in America
Multiracial Americans are at the cutting edge of social and demographic change in the U.S.—young, proud, tolerant and growing at a rate three times as fast as the population as a whole. As America becomes more racially diverse and social taboos against interracial marriage fade, a new Pew Research Center survey finds that majorities of multiracial adults are proud of their mixed-race background (60%) and feel their racial heritage has made them more open to other cultures (59%).

My stance is that we are all multi racial. All of the population shifts, trading, wars and invasions by Mongols, Huns, Vikings and so on have tumbled man up like a tossed salad. On every frontier and expansion when peoples meet, if war is avoided, they trade and then start screwing each other. If war is involved, they do that first and then trade and screw. On the American frontier there were few white women and 'white' men hooked up with whoever they could find. If you read a history of the Billy the Kid episode you will notice that most of the 'white' men, including Pat Garrett, had Mexican wives. My maternal great grandmother was of the Oklahoma Seminoles, the second wife of a widowed 'white' man with two sons. I have come to the conclusion that racism, if ever, will only end when we give up the fiction of races.
I don't buy at all the 55% of multiracial individuals receiving jokes based on their race. EVERYBODY receives jokes about their respective race.
