I think I've deciphered what /u/NoOneAttAll was driving at. The "progressive Liberal PC monstrosity...etc." are those who are (like the actresses named in the article for cosigning a letter) condemning Amnesty International's position which is in favor of decriminalizing sex-work. Those against decriminalization who are also feminists seem of a different stripe than the typical lot against legalizing adults exchanging sex acts for money. They are thinking from an abstract perspective that in their mind that work is low and no one should be lowered to that sort of work, so legalizing it is tantamount to endorsing which to them is a bad thing-- while being completely oblivious to the fact that their position is based in ignorance and perpetuates the endangering and marginalization of those engaged in sex-work.
