Americans' Support for Labor Unions Continues to Recover
Americans' approval of labor unions has jumped five percentage points to 58% over the past year, and is now at its highest point since 2008, when 59% approved.

I wonder how much of this change is due to millennials becoming a larger portion of the poll results. Everyone in my age range agrees that something needs to be done about the 1% and wholly supports unions as a strong method of fixing our problems.
But if I talk to my parents and anyone in their age range I'll usually get some paraphrased quote from Bill O'Reilly about how unions are destroying America or some such nonsense.
That would be my guess. I'm neutral on their existence, I see them as irrelevant in a global economy something like horses and buggies or corsets or the light brigade. Go ahead, don't care, it's not going to work because of the global economy. You can unionized the U.S., and the jobs move to Mexico or China or Laos.
