I think that data caps are going to keep dvds/blurays alive for a while.
Once we break the threshold of unlimited internet for everyone, physical media will probably disappear much more rapidly.
Personally, I am still on the netflix DVD-only plan. I moved from unlimited data to a place where I have 30gb/month and one lazy weekend of netflix can eat through that by itself.
You can have my PC when you pull it from my cold, dead hands. :P
