Funny how we keep thinking of ravens, crows, dolphins, gorillas, and the like as intelligent inferior species, yet we're the ones who keep electing dictators, enabling absurd plutocracies, building obscene weapons of mass destruction, and destroying the planet.
If anything, this kind of research gives me some hope about the survival of real intelligence after we've driven ourselves to extinction.
My worry is we will crash and burn everything else as well.
