While I'm deeply proud of what we've accomplished together, my passion has turned to making a different kind of game than we've done before," Levine wrote. "To meet the challenge ahead, I need to refocus my energy on a smaller team with a flatter structure and a more direct relationship with gamers. In many ways, it will be a return to how we started: a small team making games for the core gaming audience.

My only hope is that if they move onto a new franchise, it better be as amazing as Bioshock. I still remember the chills I got when I first started playing Bioshock. The level of literary symbolism and plot development in Bioshock is unrivaled in my opinion. By far my favorite story line.

Yeah, thats what Im hoping for too, that whatever new they create it will be just as engaging as the bioshock franchise.
