These Videos Of North Korea Show It's Not All Doom And Gloom
Ever wondered how people survive in a country supposedly suffering from extreme poverty and a severe food crisis? North Korea is very fascinating to me but not in a way that it should be. These videos may show people smiling and laughing, however they do not tell the whole story. Pyongyang is a city of a couple million people and the majority of money is being funneled into it at the cost of all the other towns and cities and if i may, shitholes. The sad truth is that people have little to no basic rights such as freedom of travel or expression, and some are being even being executed for petty crimes such as watching south korean tv shows and movies and reading bibles, as recent reports have shown. I deeply feel sorry for these people. A revolution is not going to happen because of the human rights abuses designed to keep people scared and quiet, and they have a massive standing army meaning that no one else will save them either.
Imagine a world where every country is like North Korea.
I would rather not. There is very fascinating documentary on the secrecy of North Korea. It's a bit dated, but an excellent documentary none the less. I posted it in the related Links.
You have to wonder: Are those people really screaming and yelling because they actually love their leader? Or are they screaming and yelling because they have been brainwashed? Or maybe they scream because they know that the secret police is watching their every move and will send them to a labor camp if they do not show passion for the dear leader.
This.
That's what I'm thinking when they show footage of the population going fucking nuts when their leader dies. How many of them are sincere and how many are faking it?
