When asked for her plea in court, it should be "Remarkably stupid, your honor".
As much as a shitty situation this is, I don't believe she should get any jail time. Especially if it was his idea. I remember being 19 and the amount of stupid shit I've done at that age.
I hear this argument given as an excuse. I didn't do stupid shit as a young adult and I don't think it should be an excuse for her.
I don't think it's an excuse but people do make mistakes. This one was a massive one that will haunt her for the rest of her life. I blame social media for giving anyone as crazy and immature as them a platform to do this kind of non sense. And how the hell did they get their hands on a gun and ammo...
Don't get me wrong. I don't think she should be charged with murder and go to jail for life. That would cause at least four lives to be be ruined by the stupid act. The boyfriend, hers, the child and the unborn child. I do think she should have some charge against her though.
