I've had sprint for years and they never gave me a SIM card until my current s4. Its hell. You're tied to your phone until you get an upgrade and you cant just switch on the fly something I used to do a lot back when I was on t mobile and could get used phones rather cheaply. Now if I need to change a phone I'd have to call in and have it activated which takes on average an hour if the phone gods are smiling that day, not to mention no hope of unlocking and taking you're phone with you. I'd rather have a thicker more durable phone than a pane of glass with a ball and chain tied around it.
