    Considering how much he scares me, I don't know. He might actually be zealous/crazy enough to actually try it.

    But even if you're right, it's still terrifying that there's a demographic of people that would be perfectly okay with a government essentially staging a coup, enforcing the opposite of a supreme court ruling by federal force...

      Every military member takes an oath "to protect and defend the constitution, and to obey the orders of the president and the officers appointed above me." If that order is given, there is a contradiction between following orders, and protecting the constitution. No sane president will give a conflicting order like that, because individual units may interpret their duty differently.

      He's highly unlikely to become president, and I can't vouch for his sanity.
