Yeah, it's a very interesting proyect. There was a similar one a few years back called The One Million Masterpiece but this one seems to have a much more visualy appealing 'end product' because of the way it's arranged and the nicer contributions.
Seeing this page reminded me of the milliondollarhomepage, that guy made a million bucks selling 10x10 pixel ad space for 100 bucks. Sure it may not be the same thing, but its still artsy in the end. Just thought I should share, as I watched this one unfold almost a decade ago.
