Her youtube channel is great! She seems so friendly and is incredibly talented. Definitely different from what I'm used to and that's a good thing.

This is really encouraging. It is especially nice because it was noted that even those the ingredients could still be tested on animals for non makeup purposes they thought the industry would still comply with what is clearly the right choice. I don't know the history of animal testing for makeup but I am glad to see that change is happening.

I am so glad that modern brands have come up with things for us today (hurray for Bobbi Brown). You are spot on that in the 2000s there was little to no attention paid and it really shows in your gallery. I had never really put much thought into the decade because while you're there it all seems perfectly normal to just give casual attention to your brows. The question is what drove the change. Was it the arrival of products on the market or was there an underlying desire from women that coerced the brands. I honestly don't recall as for me it seemed very gradual. I do distinctly remember seeing new and interesting products on my friend(s)' table and from there the products found their way slowly into my collection (I bought my own i swear). If iwent back to the 2000s now I would feel a little naked because for me my eyebrows are part of my makeup ritual.
Articles like these seem all too eager for a flashy clickable title that tends to over generalize (get a larger audience), and simplify. They are neat but as with most things on the internet should be taken with a grain of salt.
Side note: I have eyebrow sets from Bobbi Brown, elf, and milani .. so much win! Which ones do you guys use? Wonderful write up as well! :*

That's so neat .. makes me wonder how much work it takes to make your own products. If it requires you to be a scientist like Jane then I'm probably disqualified lol.

Love your reviews! I think it is so important to showcase indie brands. I feel that many lesser can be just as good as popular brands which is exactly why the box subscriptions are becoming so common. I am definitely going to check out LE. How do you think they stack up against other indie or even popular brands?
