Recently, I had purchased Titanfall for my computer, and I played it until the sun came up. However, it was about that same time that my computer was going through some technical issues. There was no choice left, but for me to send it back into the manufacturer.

Yup, it’s official. That infamous “Atari Graveyard” that everyone from Microsoft to The Angry Video Game Nerd has been searching for in a New Mexico landfill is actually true. Yup, they sifted through a lot of crap to exhume many classic consoles and titles such as numerous copies of the notable failure E.T, now the question is….was it worth it?

It wasn’t too long ago that some of us may recall Code Hero, the educational game that taught players how to code. Though after a successful Kickstarter campaign, the developer Primer Labs ran into some difficulties which ended up slowing the development of the game. But as Primer Labs discovered along with the rest of the gaming community, there was a definite need to level the playing field for aspiring game developers.

Everything any girlfriend or even boyfriend should know what to expect when dating a person who loves video games.

All this recent news about studies proving that violent video games make players more violent is pissing me off.  While this topic isn’t anything new to the gaming community, the media fails to recognize the positive influences that games can have on people. Not all video games are created evil…even the violent ones.

So last month I was browsing through GameInformer’s top 50 games of 2013 and I must say there were some pretty good titles in there. Despite titles such as Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, which are damn good games that have been collecting multiple awards recently, there was something about them that didn’t make me feel that they were…perfect.
