Saw this tribe being promoted over at /t/newtribes, and I figured I'd bite! I'm afraid I can't offer any compensation, but hopefully I get the ball rolling for other people. I'm currently obsessed with the idiom "Ships passing in the night", from a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. It's supposed to symbolize two people who meet only fleetingly. I'm considering getting it as a tattoo, but I can't think of a good design, but I'm sure you guys can!

Hey everyone! Another refugee from reddit here. I really like the site design so far, and I want to get involved, but I'm not sure how to start really.. discussing. I'm used to being in fairly specialized subs - r/dota2, r/gameofthrones, r/actuallesbians are my top three - where I can talk about things with a measure of knowledge. Things like r/science, r/technolgoy, r/worldnews, or r/AskHistorians, I've always just been a lurker. Anyone got any advice? :)
