What a strange world we live in....
Very strange indeed.
so while they should have given him a raise and a promotion and maybe an apprentice, they instead cut ties with him. Technically he was doing work outside of his job duties. If that's the case, they should have given him a title with duties that correspond to what he is actually doing. then they should have given him an apprentice so that he can teach someone else how to do the job as well as him.
"It goes on: “Most tenants . . . can attest to Ralph’s kindness and eagerness to make people feel safe and welcome."
Well we can't have that.
