'ISIS' nail salon changes its name after harassment
The terrorists have won in Queens — where the owner of a salon dubbed “Isis Nails” was forced to change the name after it drew harassment from people who thought the shop was connected to the infamous Islamic State terror group.

Unfortunately, people are not able to differentiate between I.S.I.S. the acronym and Isis the Egyption goddess because the shop's sign is in all caps which usually indicates an acronym (without the periods). So it's somewhat the shop owner's fault and somewhat bad luck/timing.
