I'm actually a fan of anything Miho Hatori, mainly because of Gorillaz's self-titled album. After reading the liner notes, I found Miho Hatori, and then Cibo Matto.
Have you checked out her solo album Ecdysis? It definitely has a different feel to Cibo Matto, but it's an excellent venture.
That's hilarious because the way I found them was almost a 180 from yours. Cibo Matto had a song on Jet Set Radio Future that I loved, so I discovered them that way. Then I was investigating The Gorillaz and took me by surprise that I she was a part of the original crew.
