12-year-old killed in police-involved shooting in Cleveland
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has released the identity of the 12-year-old boy who died after being shot by a Cleveland police officer Saturday evening. Tamir E. Rice, 12, died Sunday, according to the medical examiner. Attorney Tim Kucharski, of Richardson & Kucharski, is the attorney representing the family. He told Fox 8′s Allison Brown Sunday, “This family deserves a thorough investigation.”

How can you blame the officer when the gun looked so real. Kid or not, there is no reason for him not to protect himself.
The radio said that the person who initially called the police told them that the gun was probably fake but asked them to make sure. When the child pulled out the fake gun, which apparently looked real, the officers responded by firing instead of, say, ducking or yelling or making some sign to the child that they thought it was real. Did they really expect to get shot on a playground? Really?
You can't... the kid didn't understand the seriousness of the situation
Please tell me the kid wasn't black and the officer white.
Heartbreaking and terrible tragedy but I hope this doesn't blow up like the Ferguson event.
