    My first duty station was a radar site that was built early in the cold war. Lead pipes, lead paint, and a steam heating system that had pipes wrapped in asbestos. Mid 1980s, Bioenvironmental decided the paint was hazardous, so we painted over everything. The asbestos was hazardous, so we wrapped it in duct tape (no respirators or other protective gear). The pipes...well there was no money for that, so enjoy your lead.

    I don't have meso (yet), but I wonder how many of the people that were stationed there do.
