Smart TVs are such a good idea. No, really! They can make it easier for us to find the gems within the Amazons and Netflixes and M-Gos of the world, consolidating not only what we watch but the devices we use to watch all of it. They can stream music and movies from our phones, tablets, and PCs onto the biggest screen in our house. The cleverest of them can even tell us our remote batteries are low, hear us when we yell “I want to watch Scandal,”...

Big,greedy immoral corporations are why we can't have anything nice. I find programming so awash with ads and reaching for the lowest common demonstrator, I no longer have a tv.

I've noticed the same problem with my autocorrect. Had to turn it off as it was literally changing my words to others even though the words I was writing were correct!

TV is good to have for anything on demand, cable is the plague.
Just make sure you don't cheap out on the slow internet.
