I don't follow the logic of being offended by someone stating the obvious. Calling the country they left a shit hole is only confirming they made the right decision to leave and that we made the right decision to let them in. Why should American taxpayers take on the burden of refugees from a country that isn't horrible? As the old adage goes, beggars can't be choosers.
Would you get upset if I walked up to a not-so-attractive person and out in public started to belittle them for their below average looks? Personally, I think certain things should be approached with a level of respect and diplomacy, no?
A part of being independent is having choices, the more the better, instead of being told otherwise and at the same time belittled and marginalized.
