Spiral Galaxies in Collision
Billions of years from now, only one of these two galaxies will remain. Until then, spiral galaxies NGC 2207 and IC 2163 will slowly pull each other apart.

I read somewhere that even when two galaxies collide and one eats up the other (for example if the milky way was to be consumed), the chances of anything affecting our solar system were extremely small.
