I watch the youtube channel Jas Townsend and Sons. He is an 18th century re-enacter with a specialty in cooking. He looks kind of corny, but if you watch a few videos, you'll enjoy it. What I've learned from watching is that in the 1700s and prior, pudding was a dough that was typically wrapped in a cheesecloth and boiled in water. It wasn't what we think of as pudding.

I did like this program. Years ago, I had something similar..A brandish slice of very soft cake from a jewish bakery. It was very nice.
I like Jewish food.
