Greenland glacier hits record speed
The Jakobshavn Glacier - widely thought to have spawned the iceberg that sank the Titanic - is moving about four times faster than it was in the 1990s.

Wow... 46m per day! I thought it was going to be a lot less than that, but that is astonishingly fast.
Yeah I was also surprised at how fast its moving during the summer months, would have figured even 10 meters / day is quite fast for a glacier this size.
