What a difference a few decades make...
I'm pretty new here, but given what's happening elsewhere on the web, I have a feeling this place is going to get quite a traffic boost. Found this old ad in a school I've been attending for audio classes. Apologies for the terrible photo quality. For a first post it's a little boring, but whatever. Check out /t/audiotechs if you're interested in home or car audio, or anything audio really. Just started it today, but hopefully there's some interested folks out there.

Always interested in audio!
Well I just started /t/audiotechs today, so hopefully we can build up a good userbase there. There's so much misinformation out there that people really benefit from having a place to go to have their work critiqued and get their questions answered.

Genius! BTW, good to have you and welcome!
Thanks! You can't read it in the pic but in the text below there's a part that reads "The power: a bone-shaking 45 watts." Hard to imagine that was considered impressive at one point.
I guess whatever made you vibrate even a little back then was considered impressive.
