Posted this since I stumbled across it this morning in the App Store and decided to give it a shot.

I spent at lot of the past 4-5 years in OneNote, jotting quick notes, dragging emails and spreadsheets into it, and otherwise trying to keep my hectic work life intact. When I moved to a new company, I loved the hell out of the nice Mac they issued me, but there was really nothing that equaled the editing and formatting abilities like my old crummy OneNote.

Lo and behold, there's now a onenote for mac now. Been using it for a several hours now and I think I'll like it. I haven't thoroughly tested it out, but overall it's a pretty good app. It does require a Microsoft account so if you don't have one of those, you'll need to sign up for it. If you have multiple macs, you can login with the same account and your notes will be available everywhere.

If you need a good note taking application and happen to hate MS, you might also try out Evernote. I used it at work over the past few months and think it's pretty stinking close to the onenote experience.
