I kind of understand where the home owners are coming from, but you have to realize that this is a natural occurrence. If you're selling and buying in the same general area, you are not going to magically get a better deal on someone else's home. Prices will fluctuate, and that's just the reality of the real estate market. A similar problem, albeit on a much smaller scale is presented to early adopters who purchase electronics, no matter how long you wait, 2-3 months down the road your TV, computer, whatever will be outdated by more powerful items.
