Madness. The whole thing is run by mafia, and the prostitutes are hard drug addicts and / or exploited immigrants. It isn't the sort of industry leftist workers collectives are suitable towards. The goal ought to be getting these women off drugs and out of this business, not entrenching them into it or expecting economic sense out of them. The smart ones are already working for upscale escort services outside the city center and aren't banging windows in the red light district.
