After reading articles like this or this and this.. It leads me to believe we are much better off without facebook. Google on the other hand is very helpful, its got a ton of great products that HELP with work and life.
That being said, every large corporation is going to be evil in some way, its just the nature of how corporations are formed, and the lack of accountability of the people within them.
