Google Fiber sends piracy fine notices straight to subscribers
Google Fiber is reportedly sending out copyright infringement notices to subscribers offering settlements ranging from $20 to $300.

Reasonable to everyone? Haha.
Why in the world would google do this if they aren't required to... Not even Comcast or TWC do this (though they do let you know in an email that they received one.) What happened to "Don't be evil."?
Maybe they're trying to stay on good terms with all the studios etc. Google Play sells and rents a lot of movies and music.
Lately our ISPs here in Canada started to auto forward these types of notices also. Lots of people are complaining because they know these companies have the shady tactics of requesting payment, etc.
