Apple’s charging at least 20% more for every product this year and we’re all going to pay it
After Tuesday’s “More in the Making” event, Apple has officially rolled out its full suite of products for 2018 and beyond. It’s an impressive slate of Macs, iPhones, and iPads, and they will no doubt top many a wish list during the holiday season. Now that we know exactly what Apple will be selling for the next 12 months, a disturbing trend has emerged, one that gives new meaning to the word “more.”

Agreed. Also, by "we'are all going to pay for it" he seems to ignore the fact that not everyone even buys Apple!
This "we" appears to just mean "Apple users who are planning to spend more on a new Apple device".
Personally, I would never buy Apple (hundreds of dollars for just a tablet??!) I really don't care about the brand - the author seems to think everyone loves the Apple brand and aspires to it even if they can't afford it, which is not the case at all. I just find that Apple doesn't have the functionality I want, period, so I go with Windows (a minor improvement) and turn it into a Linux box (major improvement). That gives me the functionality I want.
As a long time Linux distro user,I agree 100%, and who is the "we" they are always alluding to anyway?
Perhaps the author considers Apple users to be royalty, and it the "royal we".
In that case, we are not amused.
