Man that must have been terrifying. Having it come up from behind you and just start getting attacked without you even knowing what it was, then being pulled down and seeing it is a goddamn shark. Jesus man....
Also, it was weird to hear an announcer just say "Holy shit".
Yeah, you can tell things have gotten serious when TV personalities start swearing on-air. O_o
"Holy shit!, Excuse me" must have know it would reach the front page of Snapzu. :)
God damn terrorist sharks!
No chance I would have gotten back in that water!!
Time for a career change!
For sure
It looks like it didn't really attack him, it looks like it just got caught in the leash attaching the surf board to his leg.
Well, it's nice to have hundreds of eyes on you and a rescue team seconds away. Still extremely nerve racking. Amazing to see this interaction caught on camera. As an occasional surfer, I just end up taking a fatalist mindset when I'm out in the water that the chances are slim, but non-zero that I'll just be eaten or seriously injured. Same with motorcycling, except in that case you risk being eaten by cars and pavement.
I would be wanting an aircraft carrier picking me up...with rockets and missiles ....that water sled is much too puny.
