Contest: n. 1. a race, conflict, or other competition between rivals, as for a prize.
Sports are contests, but not all contests are sports. Video games are not sports.
don't know why people are trying to make it a sport either, its sort of silly
because sports make it more legit. If you're doing a sport, time spent on the field is practice. If you spend time training for a contest, it's not the same legitamacy, you're just playing a game. If COD is just a passtime, it's a hobby.
