I was in an Ikea store the other day and as I was wandering through looking for some cabinets, I noticed an enclosed display. In it was a single drawer attached to a little machine, simplistic in design. It's only job was to open and close the door and to count how many times it had done that. It was a live DPA test ( Destructive Physical Analysis) 24/7, test to failure. Now one would think, given the experimental nature of a pretty cool idea, somebody would have had at least the forethought of Ikea to have done enough of those before going to market.

Be we must rush to beat Xiaomi!
Didn't they release a video showing how the screens were tested by folding and unfolding 200,000 times?
They did...I put the link up.
