Once a week I go to an initiative that's called Let's Save Food, to obtain several of my necesseties. The organisation goes around supermarkets and stores where they get food items for free, because otherwise they go into the bin. They have five outlets in my city and pick up (way) over 250 kg's of food weekly and redistribute that. The food items are all for free for the people who want to pick that up and/or need it. From that perspective, I think there is somewhat enough food in the world, but it is not shared equally and also overproduced. That doesn't need any AI to understand, now does it?
