I was wondering what would make the cut for Arizona since we don't have much in the true amusement park category. It's a shame that the best we have is Castles and Coasters. It's nowhere near the same level as so many of the other parks listed. I don't understand why we can't seem to get a real Six Flags style amusement park here.
I know! If states with severe winter weather can have amusement parks then our heat shouldn't be a factor. Maybe theme park operators think we're too close to all that California has to offer and wouldn't be able to generate the number of customers needed to keep things profitable.

I wonder if the heat would factor into why they don't have one. Although it's cold up here 9 months of the year and we still have one.

I could see that being an issue as well. But I know it does suck not to have a park close.
