True not all hardware may be able to handle the update. The good thing is you can check right now whether it will on your computer because the Windows 10 reservation program can check for hardware compatibility.

Apparently this isn't entirely true, some OEM's will launch Windows 10 products on July 29th. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-0...t-says-windows-10-will-be-on-pcs-on-first-day

Exactly, iOS and Android are the default mobile operating systems for most people. In order to convert them there has to be a good incentive, value for money in my opinion is generally the best incentive.

Telegram Messenger Beta has actually been working very well for me. It's available on Windows desktop, Mac Os, Android, ios, WindowsPhone and through a browser, so very cross platform. So far no issues with stability or other faults, I highly recommend it.

Their manufacturing costs may be higher, but I doubt Microsoft is going to price it more than those phones. If so, even if everything about them is better than the Samsung/Apple equivalent, I doubt it'll be successful. I love WindowsPhone, but I know it has a lot of catching up to do marketshare wise, selling the flagship at a higher price than it's competitor's flagships is not a good way of doing that.

Exactly, but I think some people have been confused by what the "up to a year" bit means. Just to clarify, if you upgrade within the year, you have the OS for free for the life of the device, you don't have to pay for it after a year.
