I disagree with this adamantly. Shaking and stirring do basically the same thing...mix up the drink's molecules.
Exactly! Its strictly presentation oriented with foamy and cloudy vs clear in a glass. I can agree that cooking needs a good presentation when it comes to mixing those molecules up, otherwise eating food on a plate that already looks like its been chewed and swallowed would be quite gross. But common, you would have to be a total ahole to send your drink back for it being shaken instead of stirred.
