I really hope the greedy bastages at EA learned their lesson, and to be honest I am definitely hopeful that people just boycott their game entirely not only to send a message that this microtransaction crap is unwanted and ruins games, but also serves as a warning to any other gaming studio that is itching to jump on the microtransaction train.

I totally agree. Once you have bought the game, that should be that ...It sounds like this game is more work than fun. I think any game that pulls this sick stunt should be boycotted into oblivion.
