    I've know this since I was a kid. Of course they have feeling and empathy,they get depressed,angry and so on. It's not rocket science here.

      however, feeling and empathy are quite difficult, if not impossible to quantify scientifically.

      Agreed! I'm just glad these animals are finally getting recognized as sentient beings though.
