I guess the question is, how do we get the process to be cheap enough for it to be used world wide as both a way to convert carbon and used as a building material.
It seems we're quite lucky that producing carbon fiber is a quite expensive process as of now, so it doesn't have to be that cheap to be economically sound, only cheaper than the current method.
