Indeed. Even here in Canada, a supposedly multicultural country... I can see how black people may still feel a little off when it comes to public perception. Until we squish all of the racial bullshit, I just don't see things changing as quickly as they should be. That's why its so important to stand up and fight for this now, because its not going to solve itself.
