I switched to buying the pre-made pizza crusts at Costco (4 pizza crusts and 4 pizza sauces for 6.99). I get the large bag of shredded cheese and some sliced ham/pepperoni/salami (input meat type here) along with some mushrooms, onions, etc and make my own. Ends up costing me 1/3rd of what I would pay for ordering a pizza. The thing takes 20 minutes to make, is thin crust and tastes delicious.

I just use flat breads and canned pizza sauce. And obviously some toppings like ham and pineapple (my fav.) Works wonders.

my closest costco is 450 miles away...

However, I do maintain a sourdough starter. One thing that is actually pretty easy to make is sourdough pizza crust. I never make it exactly the same twice, but this is similar to what I do.
