I think paying someone outside the US to host a domain you own may be the best alternative (assuming you don't want to run your own mail server which even I'm not interested in doing unless things get too ridiculous).
Yeah, not really looking to creating my own mail service. I'm just sad to see whats happening to gmail, I was one of the first to get it when the great hotmail exodus of 2004 took place powered mostly by the invite whoring going on at the time. I miss the old days...
Yeah, I guess I am getting old. But I miss the days where games had substance and focused on more than just graphics, where companies actually strived to provide a good service, not to just the biggest IPO or exit. Not saying that living today sucks, I love the technology and the quality of life it brings, I just wish people didn't loose sight of whats real and what truly counts.
