Just finished my first year of a Water Technology degree, it is mind boggling the processes water is involved with. The treatment process in the tech industry for high purity, municipal drinking water and waste water is quite complex as well. If you ever get the chance, go tour a water plant in your city. Doing tours is a common practice at plants, so don't feel awkward about it!
This type of thing has fascinated me for a while. Water seems like something that we've "solved". It just sounds like such an elementary concept. But there is so much more to it than meets the eye.
Exactly! We think we figured it out but there is just so much that can still be done.
