The question is, do I really want a bendable smart phone?

I mean, I feel like pressing on a bendable surface would be weird, and can you imagine typing with both thumbs, like you do on a normal smart phone, on a phone the thickness of a piece of paper?

Already some phones and tablets are too thin and are difficult to hold because of it

I personally don't see the point. But I'm sure it will make the phone less prone to damage.

This right here. I think the phone will still be hard enough for general use, but when it falls, gets sat on, or anything else that would otherwise damage the phone, it will simply bend and twist. I doubt anyone will release phones that are so damn soft they would be borderline unusable.
