    I don't get it. If the clips are "presented openly as synthetic, not as real videos intended to fool viewers:, why not just show a real vidoe?

      I'm thinking eventually this will be easier to accomplish rather having the perfect actor, the perfect stage, the perfect filming encapsulation. In a few years I figure this will be cheaper, even though it seems it's currently more expensive.

        But I hate perfection...Imperfections is what makes life interesting in my way of thinking.

          I'm thinking it's less about perfection and more about accessibility. I can imagine small startups and mom and pop businesses having access to professional grade end results rather than having to spend a fortune on the classic approach.
