Blood test could pick up Alzheimer's Disease 10 years before symptoms appear
A new blood test for Alzheimer’s could detect the disease as many as 10 years before clinical diagnosis is possible - far sooner than other tests in development. The test, which was presented at a conference in the US, could be used to spot which patients are most at risk so that treatment can begin earlier or lifestyles altered.
